我的一個好朋友的母親這月17號要去廣州領事館綠卡麵試。領事館發的材料清單內有需要以前來美的延期證明。可是他們十幾年前就弄丟了。為此這十幾年中幾次被拒簽簽證。所以我朋友就幹脆辦了綠卡。沒想到綠卡麵試同樣要求。請教各位老師，這個延期證明在綠卡麵試中是必須的嗎？該如何補救呢？
-The VO just want to know whether she overstayed in US for > 6 months and if so, she will be subjected to 3- or 10-year bar. Had she been to US again using a NEW VISA after the earliest 延期 and she did not extend it anymore later? If yes, she doesn't need to provide that 延期證明. Had the 延期 occurrd ten or more years ago? If yes, she doesn't need to provide the延期證明 because the maximum of 10 year bar has gone in this case. Just explain it to the VO and it will be fine
