863211, there is another question about Reentry Permit. My friend told me just now I cannot personally apply for a Reentry Permit.

-Not true!

He mentioned, if this company in US can hire me and then write a letter to describe to send me to work oversea, it could get reentry permit approved. Is this correct? 

-Unless you want the company to file N-470, Application to Preserve Residence for Naturalization Purposes for you, you do not need the company letter to file RP (I-131) applicaiton.
