The F1 expiration date was April 1, 2010 and I did not know if the school cancelled my F1 during 2008年9月28號到2009年2月10號.
-If you did not register full-time course load in the school, normally the school should cancel your F1 in the SEVIS.
You said had a gap. you mean out of status(OOS)?
How long is the OOS?
My whole story: OPT was expired on May 31, 2008. I applied a school which issued CPT and I worked till end of June. my F1/CPT was expired on April 1, 2010.
-If you met the F1 requirement during 2008年9月28號到2009年2月10號, you status had no gap. Otherwise, there was gap from the date you did not meet the F1 requirement to the date of F2 approval. But the status gap does not affect you anything because your F2 applicaiton was pending during this period of time.
Then On Sep 28,2008 appied for transfer to F2 which was approved on Feb 10 2009.
-You legally stayed during 2008年9月28號到2009年2月10號. Nothing affects your future green card application.
Please tell me there is any OOS and how long.
