This past week, My dad received his green card via priority mail after he entered US with immigration visa (he got from GuangZhou US consulate early this year). To our surprise, my dad's green card looks quite different from my mom's green card. My mom applied for her green card while she stays in the US, and my dad applied for his green card whhile he was in China.
I just want to verify that there are different kinds of green cards, depends on where you apply for originally?
-Not "depends on where you apply for it", but depneds on when you got the green card. If you just got it after June 2010 or later in the future, the Card collor is "Green" and if you got it before that time, the color of the card is not "green". But both kind of cards are valid and not need to worry about it.
