I am really worried, help!!!!

I am in US right now and my statu is H4. My hu*****and and I have married in April this year,at that time my hu*****and has pended his I485 file( he sent his I485 file in 6/2003), and then I was follow to join with him in July, I talked with a lawyer this morning, he said that it is not certain if I can get my green card since it depends on whether immigretion officer link our cases together or not, if not, I possibly will be turn down.I am really worry about that, please give me some advice
