-You just need to get the TN support documents from your employer and go to the US-Canada border to get the TN I-94/status and that is all. You might have trouble due to your previous I-485 filing, but you also may be fine because the CBP officer may not be so strict to a Canada citizen in this issue and he/she may not check your background. If the CBP officer ask your this queston, just tell the truth and explain it. I still suggest you to get the TN if you can not get the H1.
