This is how you do it.
1, leave us with American passport
2, enter china with Chinese passport
3, when you leave china, show Chinese passport with green card
4, enter us with American passport

Btw, us doesn't allow dual citizenship. It is just that you are not required to give up your original citizenship after neutralization. But after becoming us citizen, you can't seek other citizenship.
