My parents came to help us take care of our second new born baby two years ago. We have never been in violation of any laws in both China and US. In these years however we are way financially overburdened. I am still a full time graduate student and have to pay full tuition and have no savings to send kids to daycare. We plann to let them go back to China once I graduate.
We understand that our parents' illegal stay is really no good to anyone else and it will not allow them to enter US again.
-They will be subjected to 10-year bar (can not enter US within 10 years) if they leave US.
But we did not realize that it could affect my GC application. So if my parents leave the US right now immediately, will it still affect my GC application? Or is it already too late to do anything good about it?
-Your parents' unlawful presence has nothing to do with your green card applicaiton (not affect your GC application) no matter whether they will leave US or not or no matter when they will leave US. You worry too much.
My priority date is this Semptember, just two more months to go. Now I like an ant on the hot spot and cannot sleep well. Any suggestion is really appreciated
