Thanks andwx. I appreciate your knowledgeable replies.
For my research background, I doubt that it would be easy for me to get EB1/EB2 petition approved through academia. I have several publlcations and one patent granted/one patent pending. The thing is that my research methods and results are valuable for the pharmaceutical industries. This is why the leading pharmaceutical company would like to recruit me with very intriguing salary/compensation package, and they "promised" my O visa would be approved within a short period. However, what really concerns me (might also apply to other readers here) is not the salary, but the immigration status instead. So, could you please address on my first question? Looking forward to your and other replies.
Thanks andwx, however...
