綠卡持有者想在國內呆一年多時間，需要申請白皮書，請教：

1）是否必須回美國申請？

-Yes.

2）遞出申請材料後，需要等多久可拿到白皮書？才可回國。

-May take 3 months, normally. But you can leave US after you do the fingerprinting.
