I got same problem! The valide day on my approved H1B Form797 is April 15, 2005, but when I entered USA border in 2003, the date on my I-94 is Aug 15, 2004. Now I will renew my H1 status, my lawyer said this might get
problem. In this case I have to go out of US and re-enter with a H1 visa.
