多次來美探親（現在在美國，是H4身份，打算明年一月底回國）。算了一下，J1後在國內才待了一年半的
-If evey time you visit US you stay was too long (e.g. > 2 months continuously), you might not be counted as the home resident entirely. You need to get the J1 waiver before you file I-485.
想請教一下：
1 如果我和老婆現在一起交485，會不會因我的服務年限不夠而被拒？

2 如果這次單獨交她的485，在她取得綠卡後，如何為我辦理綠卡？需要多長時間？
-If you get the J1 waiver or meet the two year home resident requirement, you can file I-485 within US diectly (if you are in US) which may take several months or aftr yoiu wife gets her GC, she can files I-824 for you to apply for the immigration visa in the US Consulate in Guangzhou which may take 6 months to one year for entire process.
在此期間我還能否來美？以何身份？何種簽證？
-Techincally, you still can apply for a visa such as B1/B2 to enter US, but it may be somewhat difficult than H4 visa.
3 140批準後，能否等到我下次來美（比如明年8月，湊夠兩年服務期）後，再一起交485？
-Yes. Doable.
我想她不交485，就可以保留H1，我仍然可以申請H4來美。
-Doable.
這兩種方法哪種更好些？
