-In the G-325A, your mother has to indicate her true living address in this case because USCIS/FBI will do the backgound check. If they could not find your mother is really living in your friend's home, it might result in confusion.
You can use your friend's home address for your mother's I-485 address because the address in I-485 is just for case communication. But you have to provide the true living address in the G-325A.
