Thank you very much for quick response. Very much appreciated. Then I'll think seriously about going to Canada for visa change.

But I'm wondering nowadays for people who lost their jobs with H1B visa, if they don't find a job within a month if not quicker, they all have to go back to China to change visa?? That is, if H1B holders lose their jobs without the next job, they have to leave US right away?---so scary!!! I also heard after 911, beacuse of the difficulty to find a job, INS actually allow people transfer their H1B once they find a job within 3-6 months. So do you think that her case won't be approved if we submit it?---We thought that it might be safer to submit her caseto INS than to try at Canadian US embassy.

Any further points are very much appreciated before we can make the final decision.
