8 Teacher, questions on asylum

8 Teacher, one of my friend wants to apply for asylum, his question is if his asylum is approved, can he go back to China once he submits the I-485 and get AP? Will China custom port find out his asylum status then deny his entering into China or deny his getting out of China due to his asylum status?

Which kind of asylum stutus affect his entry between China and US? He is applying for religion protection.
