I had same situation 3 years ago. Actually my wife and I changed to F1 so I think F1 is easier to get approval. Find a comuunity college and tell them you want to join one program as internation student then follow whatever they need. Of courcse you can have your spouse change to F1 and you change to F2 too. It is time now and you still have time.
