Amazing: Even few days ago, I still asked here if I need another H1-B for another part-time job. Today just get the Green Card without any notices. Even just now, I check my I485 status -- still pending not decision yet. Look like now 移民局非常規處理！！
首先，十分感謝這裏的論壇，得到很多支持。現分享我的獨特經驗。I started Green Card in Nov. 2003, turn in 485 appication in 7/2007. But unfortunally, I got laid off in 2008, and 2009 I got 485 REF and finally this 485 denied due to lost the job. 大家應該能感受到當時我的feeling. 甚至想到綠卡遙遙無期。
但2010.01 時來運轉，原公司竟再hire me as same position. 律師竟幫我申請one-year H1B (not need new cap), ant then applied for 485 again with previous approved I-140. Today, I got green card !!
想說的時，有些事情甚至律師自己都不清楚：
When 485 got denied, I consulted some 律師，大多數律師說我的140 已經無用；485 一定要重新開始（注意：他們還特別強調從PERM 開始）。期間一些公司想hire me, 但均不成功，原因是其公司律師說不能辦H1B!!現我的結論是，H1B 即便是超6年，並且已無pending LC/140/485, 照樣可以申請H1B, 這是我的親身經曆是：2010.1 H1B 申請得到批複！！並沿用舊的140，重新申請485，也可以的！！ 當然這是否與雇傭公司一直是一樣的有關，我不確定。
好了，講了這麽多，給大家鼓鼓氣，不要放棄！
