Dear 863211 -

Regarding my previous question about the evidence to support Chinese passport replacement/change for the kid in high school, the parents are using EADs to work and the kid does not have H4 visa status. They are not considering traveling at this moment. he kid's passport is to expire. The parents just want to have the kid's old Chinese passport replaced with the new one. In this case, is I-485 receipt sufficient to prove the kid's status in US?
