I am trying to find out if a hiring institution can offer a PhD student a secretary type job. If they agree to do sponsorship, how likely is it to work out?
-Sponsor what? H1 or green card? As an F1 student, you can work part-time on-campus (maximum 20 hr/w) no matter what kind of job inculing the secretary, of course.
Somebody told me even a restaurant can hire a graduate student to work and sponsor.
