   Why did the international officer tell me (she is no longer in charge of the problems. Neither does the office)this: “As it relates to traveling, if a foreign national has a “pending application” and they travel outside the U.S., surrendering the I-94 which was being used to process the new application, the application is sometimes dropped by USCIS.  I suggested that if you or your dependent planned to travel that you be aware of this possibility. “

    From the conversation with her, it seems there is some sort of danger. That is why I sent out the message and ask you the question.
