F1(language school no OPT) -> H4 COS in 60 grace period

謝謝PJ老師回答，我也研究了其他網站上的回答，發現下麵說的(murthy.com)與你在 60-Day 裏的所說的有些不一致，不知道到底grace period 60 天內能否COS 去H4, 這個可能是grey area. 是這樣嗎? 再次謝謝

It may be possible to file the H1B case during the grace period, though this is risky since some USCIS officers may take the position that the grace period is not the appropriate time to file a change of status application, as it instead is intended for wrapping up affairs in the U.S. If the grace period ends on or after October 1, 2006 (the start of the next fiscal year), an individual should be able to change status from F-1 / OPT to H1B from within the U.S.
