It was a selective glitch, or discrimination made by the woman Advisor to International Scholars. She only picked out my name among the name list of international scholars whose employment contracts were ending in that time, and she only cancelled my visa without make any verification with my department.
The root cause is due to:
1. I rejected J1 visa but only insisted on H-1B visa.
2. I complained her about the inefficiency of processing my H-1B petition.
3. I didn't send any gift to her, while many many (possibly more than 100) international scholars had sent her gifts. (At that time, I didn't know the situation, otherwise, I would have sent her gift too for builing a good relationship. BTW, I sent totally $300 small gifts to 10 different people as my appreciations to them on last Thanksgiving day).
