我馬上要回美國辦reentry permit, My hu*****and is American citizen, and we both are working in Beijing now. Since I got the green card last year in October, I've been outside US, and now it's over 6 months already. I am thinking about doing this myself without a lawyer.
Do you have a good sample letter that I can reference as my reason of staying outside US?
-Just simply say your hu*****and is working in China for how long, and you need to stay/live with your hu*****and and that is enough.
Also, on the form, it asks my " intent length of trip" shall I say 1 year,even though I will go back to the US by the end of this year?
-Just say you will stay in China for 23 months (less than two years). You just need to return to US before the reentry permit expires.
