Thanks. That is what I thought before. It looks like I do not have the choice but leave US. It is really sad that I have contributed most of productive years here and now got kicked out. Another thought, if the old company files H1B one year extension for me at the end of this year before it is gone, will the H1 extension be valid for the new company? Is it true that if I leave US for a year, I can apply new H1 with 6 years? I happen to be a Canadian Citizen. Thanks.
