My friend's child is a US college student and ready to study abroad this fall semester in Hong Kong with a 6 month student visa. He is a permanent resident in US with green card. Also he is a Chinese citizen with a China Passport. He is planning to fly from US to mainland of China, staying one or two months, then fly to Hong Kong.


 


According to his situation, do you think it is ok to enter Hong kong from mainland of China


-Yes.


 or he has to fly directly from US to Hong Kong?


-Not need.
