媽媽剛剛入籍美國，她一直以“成年未婚子女”申請我在國內的哥哥。（2006年開始申請）現在哥哥想跟他的女朋友登記結婚，希望可以跟女朋友一起來美。請問，轉紙後，哥哥和嫂嫂要等多久才可以來呢？

-It seems your brother GC is F2B. Because your mother has become a US citizen, this petition (F2B) is invalid. So, your mother has to inform USCIS to upgrade the approved I-130 from F2B to F1 (your brother not marrried) or F3 (your brother got married). So, the original F2B priority date (PD) will be used as the F1 or F3 PD.

我聽說，如果哥哥現在結婚，他的類別會變成“公民的成年已婚子女”，要等好長的時間的。

-My suggestion is that your brother just get married now and then, ask your mother to send a letter to USCIS to upgrade the F2B to F3 and thus, the PD can be counted from 2006. Once the PD is current, your brother and his wife/kid can get the immigration visa together. Please note that your brother has to get married first and then, your mother unpgrade the F2B to F3 later.
