-Your child's should be IB3 (yours is IB6), absolutely not F2A. So, the only way is to argue with NVC that your child is using following-to-join. So, talk to your lawyer about it.

Just as you said, you made a big mistake to let your child leave US before he gets the green card. If he were in US, he should have got the green card already.
