My mother suffered from 心動過速 last year. We sent her back last November and she is scheduled to come back on July 15. We are very concerned about her health and may send her back to China after a half month.
Is it true that as long as the time she goes back to China is less than a half year, she can keep her green card? In other words, if my mother only spends only a half month until the end of July in the USA and come back to USA again next January, she will be fine with her green card. Is that right?
-Occasionally, it is fine that she can go back and forth between US and China with staying in China for less than 6 months. But if she does it very often, the CBP officer may give her warning and then, if she continues to do that, her green card may be trouble. So, it will be fine at this time to go to China and come back in Jan. 2012.
