我現持H1B在美國工作。正在準備申請婚姻綠卡。 但我可能會在六月底失去工作。如果現在遞交申請。拿到臨時綠卡至少需要半年時間。

請問在失去工作後我是什麽身份，

-Adjustment of Status (AOS).

是否還能合法的留在美國？

-Yes.

需要申請AP或 EAD嗎？

-No, but you may just get it because it is free.

 

另外，我現在有孕在身。不想做肺結核的皮試或X Ray. 是不是隻能等孩子生下來以後才能遞交姻綠卡申請。

如果現在遞130 和485, 可以以後遞交體檢證明嗎？

-Yes. USCIS will send you Request of Evidence for this document, and then you can provide it. But USCIS will not approve your I-485 until you provide the 體檢證明.

 

如何做能盡快拿到綠卡？
