Will she apply for the immigration visa (green card visa) in China or come to US to file I-485 to get her green card? If she will apply for the immigration visa in China, she needs to do the physical exam in China by the Dr. or hospital recognized by the US Consulate and if she passes the physical exam (the illness is heal), she will get the immigration visa. If she will come to US first and apply for the green card later in US by filing I-485, she does not need to do the physical exam in China and will do it later in US. But she of course needs to treat the illness and heal it in either case.
