請教pjiang, 863211等老師

本人目前是F1, 在考慮是否放棄博士學業以便更好照顧家庭。先生在2007年7月遞交的I-140 (NIW)已批準。他和我的I-485在排期中。先生以前是Ｈ１目前用EAD卡工作，我已有EAD卡但未使用。

請問老師：

1。如果我放棄學業在家（不使用EAD卡），what will be my status? Is there anything I should do to adjust my status in order to remain a legal status? Or I need to do nothing because of my pending I-485?

2. I'm thinking to visit my family in China this summer, and I'm planning to apply AP. However, I'm still concerned I will have trouble with the Custom when I come back because I don't have any type of valid visa (F1/H1/H4). 

What do you think and what is your suggestion?
