我知道 H-1/4 的 I-94 上的停留期，是由 H-1b Approval Notice I-797 來定的。這就是說隻要我的1-797 有效期的開始日期早於我的最新的I-94 卡上的expiration date，就不會有問題嗎？ 比如我的I-94 上的expiration date （手寫的那個日期）是09／27／2007，但是我的入境後renew 的 I-797 表上的有效日期是 從 08／26／2007到08／26／2008。以後幾年renewed 的 I-797表上的日期都隻是是年份變化。那麽我的1－94 就 ok 嗎？ 還有就是我的護照3年後renewed 過，那也應該和我的這張I-94 無關了把？ 實在有點糊塗，請您多多職教。多謝了！
-Everytime you renew your H1, you get a new I-94 with the approval notice and that new I-94 will overwrite the old I-94. So, your status duration will be decided by the new I-94 (got with the extension) and the old I-94 is invalid.
