Sure, you can appeal if your background is really strong. Meanwhile,just try to reapply the GC under other categorys,like NIW or EB1-OR. Also you can try LC(labor certificate)if you current employer sponsor.
I am just wondering which immigration center did you send one year ago.Did you hire a lawyer or just do everything on your own? Good luck.
