ask Pjiang and 863211 Teachers about adoption?

I am U.S.centizen, and my nephew is 6-year old, currently visiting me by B2 visa. I was just wondering whether I could adopt my nephew in U.S. For example, if my nephew stay here for 6-month, then go back and reenter U.S by using the current valid visa, then I try to extend his visa twice, so the total time he stayed with is 2 years. I was wondering in this way whether I could stasify the prequisite of adopting him? Just a thought, not going to execute, please make comments! thank you very much!
