我和前妻離婚調解書中有這樣一句：兒子由女方撫養，男方給女方XXX撫養費。

這是否說明，我就沒有對兒子的監護權了？如果我為兒子辦移民，還要轉監護權？

我覺得由前妻撫養並不代表我失去了監護權吧？

-Your wife has the physical cusdity of your child. However, you still can sponsor your child's immigration visa application. But you have to get your wife's agreement for your child to live in US permanently before the immigration visa officer process your child visa application. Otherwise, your child will not be offered the immigration visa.
