Talk to your employer whether they can sponsor your green card application and when they will begin the process if they agree. If they can not sponsor your green card, you had better find a new job as soon as possible. I feel very strange for your current employer to advertise your h1 poisition/recruitment again instead of a new recruitment of PERM position.
