It could be because many people are looking for jobs now and the company saw someone who met the requirements. They are not replacing me, but just going through the recruiting process and had this issue.
actually i also find it weird - they can always find an excuse to turn the applicants down. Am i right or the Company just is very strict with the GC rules.
