in this case can I still submit 485?
-Becasue you have not worked for the sponsor any more, your I-485 will be denied if you file it unless the sponsor/employer will convince USCIS that he will hire you again. USCIS will ask your sponsor the provide this kind of document that the employer will hire you and contniue to support your green card. If your sponsor will not support you, you had better not waste your money to file the I-485. However, if your new employer file a new I-140 for you, you can use the old priority date of your old approved I-140.

no job since 2007, but has a H1b approval notice until 2009 (don't think employer report for lost of job)
is it possible to apply H1 and use this 140 for 485?
