USCIS has lifeted the "zero tolerance" policy. However, there is no such thing as grace period of 10 days for that. If you still have other validate status, probably you want to stay on it for a while to keep your status. If you don't, you'd better to consult a lawyer and appeal your case. Once you get the receipt or notice that they have recieved your appeal request and it'll take such and such days to process it, you are OK to stay. But you'd better be well prepared for the appeal, you don;t want to waste you time and money on that.
