回複：父母綠卡福利

想請問一下各位前輩，父母拿到綠卡後能有哪些福利。我能給他們買醫療保險嗎？我在網上看到說即便他們過了65，也不能享受MEDICARE。

-I am sure they can not be qualified for medicaid at this moment, but I am not sure wtether they are qualified for Medicare or not. You may contact Medicare in your state for this kind of information. Also contact the specific agency for any specific  benefit qualification before they apply for it.

那麽在美呆了5年以後呢？

-They can get the US citizenship and then, they can be qualifed for Medicaid and other benefits.

以前聽說有人給自己父母付工資，交ＳＯＣＩＡＬＳＥＣＵＲＩＴＹ　和　MEDICARE TAX， 10年以後才可以有福利，這樣可行嗎？不想鑽空子，但希望讓父母享受到應有的福利。懇請希望能有人指點一下。非常感謝。
