我的工作簽證9月30日到期，工作許可證到現在還沒有下來，從法律上講沒有拿到工作許可證是不能工作的。但我所在公司希望我能在家上班或者還是到公司上班，但暫時不發給我薪水。等我的工作許可證拿到後，再以bonus的方式把薪水補給我。請問這樣做違法嗎？

- It is in violation while a short period is normally not noticeable, plus even it is determined a violation it will not hurt your I-485 if it is less than 180 days (including all your other OOS if applicable).
