-It seems if I keep using TN visa when working in the states, I do not have to worry about the waiver issue?

-if my major is not on the list of Canadian Embassy, how could I proceed if I apply H1b visa in the future if necessary?

How could US know I dont need the waiver?
-USCIS has the agreement with the specific country (e.g. China, Canada, etc.), so they of course also have the list.
