今天收到移民局關於485補件的正式信函，內容如下：
please evidence of your employment authorization from August 1,2010 to present, such evidence may include :
1）employment authorization documents（forms I-688 or I-766） granted to you by this service;
2）form I-797 approval notices, showing you were granted status in an employment-authorized nonimmigrant classification

我的情況是今年7月31日，H1 3年到期，已經申請延期，目前狀態是pending, 還沒收到approval notice; 綠卡類型： EB1b, 學校support.

我想請教的問題是：
1． 什麽是 employment authorization documents（forms I-688 or I-766）？
-I-688 or I-766 is the EADs (differnt types of EADs such as OPT EAD, I-485 EAD, J2 EAD, etc.). If yo udo not have the EAD in this period of time, just ignore this request.

2． 移民局要的form I-797 approval notices，是否就是H1 approval notice?
-You need to provide all the H1 approval notices in this period of time. Also, provide the H1 petition receipt is the H1 extension is pending.

現在如果讓學校出示一個證明我的H1 pending 狀態是否可以？
--Not need it, but you need to ask your HR to give the copy of the H1 petition receipt and provide it for the RFE.
