Another question, do I need to do anything about my spouse's H4 associated with my H1 with company A. My understanding is H4 does not care which H1 it is associate with, as long as I have a valid H1. Am I right about this? So I don't need to worry about H4 at all.
-Just ignore my above response for this question. Because your H1 for Company A is not activated (you do no twork for this employer), your spouse needs to file the H4 extension with your H1 transfer to the Company B if his/her current h4 will expires soon.
