I agree with you.

One more problem is I don't have the copy evidence to show the A# on their system.

If I attatched any 485 receipt for renewing EAD, Seems I have to put the A# with the attatched I485 even though I knew this number is not correct.
-Visit the local office first to find the A# and then, renew the EAD. Or just file the EAD renewa because they will use your I-485 receipt# to find whether you are qualified for the EAD (The I-485 receipt# will link to your new A# in the system), and thus, it will not be a problem
