Urgent!!! EAD was expired on 7/9/2010

I filed Renewal EAD on 4/21/2010, got rejected as I did not mark Renew and forgot photo. Mailed again. The receipt shows they received on 5/12/2010, notice on 5/24/2010. My EAd was expired on 7/9/2010, I can not work now. I called to inquire EAD, the customer service said they send service request. I do not know if I should call and the request is appropriate? What I can do now to speed renewal EAD? Help please!!! Thanks!!!!!
