1) To call USCIS on 08/01/2010 is the first thing you gonna do
2) don't be too serious about the feedback USCIS sent to you. It is only part of the process and USCIS will never tell you 100% accurate info. So don't be upset no matter what happens.
3) If your PD is current, no matter what feedback you recieve from the service request, your case will be very possible to be approved in 30 days.
4) Don't waste time on infopass
NOTE: USCIS customer service knows pretty much the same thing as yours. The only function of them are sending service request for you so you can get the most updated on your case. However, service can only be requested on a per 60-day basis so please make sure to prepare for a very specific request. In your case, I will say:
1. Call customer service
2. Send a service request
Type of service requested:
-- Outside Normal Processing Times
as long as your PD is current
Generally, you will get a response within a week or less than 45 days.
P.S. Service Request Rule + 60 days vs 45 days
1. If you already call USCIS and send a service requeset within 60 days, they won't send another.
2. You can send another service request to get more update on your case within 60 days.
3. If customer service help send a service request, they will tell you to wait 45 days for the reply - generally within 30 days. During the 45 days and the next 60 days cycle, take a rest and wait for the next window open.
This is the protocol they follow for now.
Just my 2 cents
