我夫人是副申請人，我是EB2，排期是2007年7月。她第一次申請EAD，今天剛收到，但有效期才一年。考慮到排期不可能一年內就到，不知能否換成兩年的？

是不是把原卡寄回即可，還需要其它諸如申請表之類的文件嗎？
_just write a letter to request the replacement. Explain the reason in the letter clearly. Also enclose the original one year EAD (return it to USCIS). If she has/find a job now and want to use the EAD, she just needs to provide the one-year EAD to the Human Resource to make a copy there and then she can work legallly during she waits for the 2 year EAD replacement. Then she can send the one-year EAD back for the replacement of 2 year EAD.
Not need to tell the HR about the EAD replacement (not their business). After she gets the 2 year EAD, she can show it to HR anytime before the one year EAD expires. The 2 year EAD's effective date will be exact the same as the 1 year EAD, but expiration date will be one year more than the one year EAD. So, total these two EAD is valid for two years.
