回複：父母綠卡麵試請教各位老師

我給父母4月初提交的申請，今天收到麵試通知(I-797C Request for applicant to appear for initial interview)。有些問題請教各位老師，多謝了！

1.我是申請人sponsor，老公是co-sponsor。我爸媽和我不在同一個city。我或者我老公一定要和我爸媽一同麵試嗎？
-Not really, but one of you or your relative had better be interpreter.

2.我媽有急事要在麵試後回國，AP申請了但不知什麽時候收到。我看到有的人麵試後移民官給母親護照上蓋上一年有效的臨時綠卡。

請問臨時綠卡需要在麵試通過後提出特別申請嗎？
-No. But USCIS has to approve her I-485, and then she can get the green card stamp. Most of parents'GC cases will not be approved immediately after the interview, so your mother may have to wait for a while to get the GC or GC stamp after the interview.
