Just got an info from international office of my next University:
' H-1b (for transfer and extension) receipt notice reveived. As a transfer H-1b, you are eligible to begin to work here now. '
-It is true.

My question is: after this H-1b receipt notice, should I expect to receive an approval notice for H-1b transfer and extension later?
-Yes. Normally most cases of H1 transfer/extension will be approved, but very few cases may be denied if the employer has low qualifications to sponosr the H1 petition.

Anyway, I am sure your H1 petition will be approved, so you are safe to work for your new school now.
